12-carrier cotton sash cord with a synthetic, reinforced core
Cotton Sash Cord is a solid braid rope produced with synthetic reinforced core to provide greater tensile strength and reduced stretch when compared to 100% cotton cords. Sash cord is used in many general purpose applications as well as window sash cords.

I purchased what looked like the same, original rope to replace the frayed and disintegrated original cord on my Walter Lamb chairs. I ordered 1/2” rather than 3/8” and although it was a larger rope than the original, it looks better, slightly thicker. I’m really pleased to have found this source for replacement cord for these classic, beautiful outdoor chairs.

, MissouriThe 3/8" sashcord was perfect for the window repair. I could only find 1/4" at the hardware stores.
