Breaking Strength
Product Description
Named from the Latin word "scandere," which means "to climb," Yale Cordage has produced a low stretch climbing line for arborists
Yale's Scandere Climbing Rope; Scandere meaning “to climb” is constructed with 48 strands of high-tenacity polyester tightly braided over a core of steam-stabilized nylon. With its solution-cast fiber and broad construction, the sleeve offers superior visibility, abrasion resistance and longevity while the stabilized core promotes flexibility, prevents stiffness and maximizes energy absorption.
Capturing the finest features of a traditional kernmantle line and combining them with the essential toughness needed to get the job done. Scandere is easy to handle and highly compatible with mechanical devices. Runs well in all modern hardware and is low stretch. Scandere is an excellent competition and SRT work line and is soft in the hand.

Climb
My rope runner works perfect in it , very easy to hold in your hand when descending , very good rope !
amazingly smooth
this rope is the best rope out there (hands down) and l’ve climbed on every rope sherrilltree, treestuff.com or bartlett arborist supplies has to offer.. my only (and l do mean only) hang up about this rope is that the sewn eye stitching makes the stitching connections really flat and wide, to were it won’t go thru any ring to ring friction savers on the market.. l had to “jerry rig” my own friction saver set up and l hate it, but it’s the only thing l can get to work, and trust me l have 11 different fiction savers and it wouldn’t go thru any of ‘em.. it won’t go thru a pulley saver either, l tried.. rope is probably best used for SRT/SRS with no sewn eye, but the rope is waayyy too nice to chew it all up with hand, knee and foot ascenders so l only use it on DRT/DDRT and climb SRT/SRS on my sh!ttier ropes.
Rope
I ordered the rope because of a YouTuber he loves it with his pencil zigzag I ordered the same rope the yell scan deer I use it in my zigzag but it does slip about a half an inch until I fully put my weight into it. Maybe I need to break it in a little bit I don't know but the rope is amazing it feels great it's light I really like it if it doesn't work for my zigzag I will definitely use it in my unicender
